This meta-analysis found that circumcision using the no-scalpel Circumcision device has the advantages of shorter operation time, easier manipulation, better cosmetic penile appearance, fewer complications, no stitch removal pain, only mild postoperative pain, and improved wound healing compared with CC.

Clinical Investigation of a Novel Surgical Device for Circumcision

No-scalpel circumcision is a simple, operator friendly circumcision device that offers excellent performance, including short procedural time, fast recovery and a short postoperative edema period along with appealing cosmetics. It was also designed to be economical since the device is disposable and circumcision can be easily performed using local anesthesia on an outpatient basis. No major complications were found in our study. As such, to date there have been minimal drawbacks to this technique.
